Lectures, training sessions and workshops organised as part of the "Local government invites..." series.

  • 12 November 2023 

Training on students' rights and responsibilities - aimed at those starting their studies, was conducted by a representative of the PSW Student Government.

  • 8 November 2023 

Training "People with special needs. Us or them?" by Dr Anna Janus, addressed the problems of people with special needs, taking into account the type of disability. The meeting was part of the activities undertaken by Office for Persons with Disabilities (BON). Students were provided with information on ways to support, including equipment rental for people with disabilities (laptops, magnifying glasses, voice recorders, e-book readers, electronic magnifiers, keyboards), career counselling and scholarships for people with disabilities.

Workshop "How to study to learn effectively". by Dr Magdalena Czubak-Koch, was devoted to methods of effective learning. It will be followed by a workshop "On the art of studying - how to use the potential of the university for your own development"., scheduled for the summer term of the 2023/2024 academic year.

  • 20 March 2024

Workshop "Psychological first aid kit - when and where to seek support for yourself and others". prepared by Dr Monika Kurzynoga. The meeting was linked to the activities of PO-MOC Academic Psychological and Pedagogical Support Centre, in which Students can take advantage of psychological and psychopedagogical consultations free of charge and anonymously.

  • 10 April 2024 

Training "Unauthorised banking transactions" Mateusz Solański, lawyer, concerned prevention and action in the case of unauthorised bank transactions. The presenter discussed the legal position and pointed out specific examples. Students asked questions and shared their experiences. The event was linked to the activities of the Legal Aid Point for PSW students.

Lecture by Dr Adam Romejka, Professor UG: "Human dignity as an ethical paradigm"., opened a series of meetings, lectures and workshops related to the PSW Student Government's work on the PSW Student Code of Ethics.
